Croatian international Ivan Perišić leaves Wolfsburg to continue his career at Italian giants Inter.

Inter Milan, who recently sold Mateo Kovačić to Real Madrid, agreed to sign Croatian international winger Ivan Perišić from German vice-champions Wolfsburg.

Perišić left Hajduk youth ranks to play at Sochaux, Roeselare, Club Brugge and Borussia Dortmund, before signing with Wolfsburg in January 2013. There he played 70 Bundesliga matches and scored 18 goals, helping Wolfsburg to reach the Bundesliga runner-up spot, and win German Cup and Supercup.

At Inter, Perišić will join another Croatian international, Marcelo Brozović.

"I have spent a nice, successful period at Wolfsburg, and now I look forward to a new challenge. I am thankful to everyone who made this transfer possible, and I wish Wolfsburg a lot of success in the future", said Perišić.
