Croatian national team player were overjoyed with securing EURO 2016 berth.

Croatia and Shakhtar Donetsk captain Darijo Srna sent a message of unity upon successful completion of EURO 2016 qualifying.

"This is a beautiful feeling, especially since the negativity after the Azerbaijan and Norway encounters. Croatian players are heroes for becoming stronger through adversity and making it to France. The most important thing is to listen to Croatian anthem in France. I would like to thank the former coach Kovač and current coach Čačić, now we can all be happy. We reached our goal, and this is a great success. Croatia is small and we have to stick together".

"Against Malta, it was not brilliant, but we won, and a big thank you to Italy for beating Norway. We did very well in qualifying, not counting September, and we knew it is going to be tough at Malta. The coach said we would surely qualify if we win, and so it turned out. Finally the other results went our way. This is a great result, and now we want a great result in France as well", continued Monaco goalkeeper Subašić.

"This is a genuine feeling of satisfaction, our hard work finally paid off. Now we have to prepare for an excellent tournament in France. We want to be one with our fans, to be strong, we want to make them realize how we give our best for Croatia. We did the same at Malta", said Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitić.

"The most important thing is that we won and qualified for EURO 2016. Congratulations to the players, head coach, and fans who supported us the whole time. We want to go to France to achieve a great result. Of course, we thought about match in Italy, and weren't comfortable with Norway leading at half-time. That influenced our performance, and everything become easier when Italy took the lead", added Dynamo Kiev defender Domagoj Vida.
