Croatia will await EURO 2016 final draw in Pot 2, with head coach Ante Čačić thinking how to repeat the 1998 success.

According to UEFA national team coefficient rankings, Croatia will be in Pot 2 in EURO 2016 final draw on 12 December in Paris.

France is A1 as the host nation, with Spain guaranteed Pot 1 as defending champions. Germany, England, Portugal and Belgium join them in Pot 1.

Northern Ireland, Albania, Wales and Iceland will definitely be in Pot 4, with the remaining teams to learn their pot distribution upon the completion of play-off matches.

"Croatia is a small country, but our football is full of quality, with so many good players. Considering the conditions we live in, it is really an honour to play at nine out of eleven major tournaments. However, qualifying for France is not the end of the road for Croatia, we must not let this opportunity slip away. We have to try and repeat the success of '98 generation, to achieve something above average, and to convert our talent into a great result", said Croatia head coach Ante Čačić.
