Croatian Football Federation president Davor Šuker commented on the Final Draw of the UEFA EURO 2016 in France.

Croatia will face current champions Spain, Czech Republic and Turkey at the European Championships next summer, with Croatian Football Federation president Davor Šuker aware of the complexity of the task ahead.

"This is a really difficult group. Our three opponents have been the best-ranked in each of the remaining pots, and that says it all. However, we'll enjoy every match in France, during this football festival", he said to hns-cff.hr.

Having spent most of his club career in Spain, Šuker added: "I am glad that we were drawn against my friends from Spain".

Croatia opens its EURO 2016 campaign against Turkey, with matches against Czech Republic and Spain to follow.

"I can say that the matches in this group will be like a final for Croatia, Turkey and Czech Republic, with Spain having a slight edge as holders", concluded Šuker.
