Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren awaits the Europa League final with Liverpool, while Darijo Srna and Eduardo Alves da Silva are out by title holders Sevilla.

The Liverpool team, with Dejan Lovren in defence for the entire 90 minutes, reached Europa League final after a 3:0 return leg victory over Spanish side Villarreal.

Villarreal won the first leg 1:0, but at Anfield the Reds responded with goal by Soriano (own goal), Sturridge, and Lallana.

In the Basel final on 18 May, Liverpool will face title holders Sevilla, who defeated Shakhtar Donetsk in the return leg 3:1, following a 2:2 draw in Ukraine.

Eduardo Alves da Silva scored the only Shakhtar goal in Seville, at the end of the first half, and was substituted six minutes from time. Croatia and Shakhtar captain Darijo Srna played the entire match.
