Andrej Kramarić scored the winning goal against Moldova, and head coach Ante Čačić offered a short analysis.

Croatia defeated Moldova 1:0 in Koprivnica international friendly, the first appearance of the Vatreni in this Croatian city.

"I would like to thank our Koprivnica hosts on the full crowd and a good atmosphere, and I regret not winning the match by a bigger margin, considering we had plenty of chances. However, I am satisfied, this match has given me many answers. It was a good test", summarized Croatia head coach Ante Čačić.

"The preparation stage requires more intensive work, but our players have shown enough energy. We lacked the final pass, while the opponent did not pose a real threat to our defensive line, yet there are indications that everything will be just fine. In the second half, the younger players made some understandable mistakes, but everybody was full of desire", added Čačić.

Ivan Strinić at left-back and minor Andrej Kramarić injury were further topics of head coach's analysis.

"Strinić experienced Serie A last season and played very well, I can say that he met my demands. Kramarić injury, I believe, is nothing serious. Furthermore, I have decided to change as little as possible in the defensive line", he concluded.
