Abdominal injury prevents Croatia left-back Josip Pivarić from partaking in the FIFA World Cup qualifier against Turkey.

Following the MRI exam at Sv. Katarina Hospital on Wednesday, Josip Pivarić was ruled out of Croatia's opening 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Turkey. Pivarić was diagnosed with abdominal injury sustained during Dinamo Zagreb's league match.

Croatia will host Turkey on Monday in Zagreb, and Pivarić immediately returned to his club, where we will proceed with the adequate therapy for a standard injury related to his earlier long-term absence.
