Croatia goalkeeper Danijel Subašić has to miss out on Turkey encounter, with Lovre Kalinić replacing him.

Croatia national team medical staff confirmed to head coach Ante Čačić that first-choice goalkeeper Danijel Subašić of Monaco will be unable to participate on Monday due to muscle injury.

In its first match of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier, Croatia faces Turkey behind closed doors at Maksimir Stadium in Zagreb.

Lovre Kalinić of Hajduk Split will take Subašić's place. "He has already played for Croatia, he has the continuity of good performances for his club, and he is ready to meet the challenges of this Turkey qualifier", said Croatia head coach Čačić.
