Croatia internationals Franko Andrijašević and Filip Ozobić spoke to hns-cff.hr on the eve of the China Cup semifinals against Chile.

Franko Andrijašević of HNK Rijeka, the leaders of Croatian First Division, reveals that Ante Čačić's men seek no excuses in the upcoming Chile encounter.

"There are no alibis, we have to present ourselves in the best possible manner. We'll give our best defending Croatia colours, there is no other way. Chile has spent more time in China, they are undoubtedly better adjusted. Moreover, we do not know their starting lineup. However, we must not think too much of them, but be at our highest level".

"China is extraordinary, we did not know some of these things even exist. Furthermore, the atmosphere at the opening match was fantastic", he said.

Filip Ozobić of Azerbaijani side Qabala agrees, despite the long journey to China.

"It was a challenging trip, but now we must adapt. Croatia will give everything for a good performance against Chile, and most players know each other from the Croatian league. Everyone will fit in quickly, while the head coach will decide who gets the chance".

"What China is doing - both regarding the stadium and the city of Nanning - is a miracle. We all enjoy China Cup, and this Guangxi Stadium is new, beautiful structure. It will be a pleasure to play", said Ozobić.
