February FIFA Rankings put Croatia at No. 16 among the best national teams of the world.

In February edition of FIFA Rankings, Croatia lost two places and was surpassed by Poland and Italy. With 1039 points, Croatia is just ahead of Mexico and Peru.

Croatia's opponents in 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying include Iceland (No. 20), Turkey (No. 24), Ukraine (No. 30), Finland (No. 97) and Kosovo (No. 165).

There were no changes at the top. Argentina remains in charge ahead of Brazil and world champions Germany, followed by Chile and Belgium. France took over the No. 6 from Colombia.
