On Friday, seven Croatia internationals learned their fate in Champions League, with one more remaining in Europa League competition.

Croatia midfielders Luka Modrić and Mateo Kovačić are on quest to defend Champions League title with Real Madrid, and the quarterfinal draw paired them up with German champions Bayern Munich.

Mario Mandžukić and Marko Pjaca of Italian champions Juventus face Ivan Rakitić's Barcelona in another mouth-watering quarterfinals tie.

Monaco goalkeeper Danijel Subašić plays Borussia Dortmund, while Atletico Madrid defender Šime Vrsaljko take on English champions Leicester City.

Young Croatia defender Matej Mitrović, who plays for Besiktas in Turkey, awaits Lyon in Europa League quarterfinals. Croatia goalkeeping coach, Marjan Mrmić, is also a member of Besiktas coaching staff.

Moreover, the Europa League draw paired Anderlecht vs. Manchester United, Celta Vigo vs. Genk, and Ajax vs. Schalke.
