On Friday, Croatia international Dejan Lovren extended his Liverpool stay.

Following his third season at Anfield, 27-year-old Dejan Lovren agreed to sign a long-term contract extension with Liverpool.

Lovren joined Liverpool in July 2014 from Southampton. Up to date, he has 105 appearances for the Reds, during which time he managed to score four goals.

Speaking about a special day for him and his family, Lovren stated he felt "the happiest man in the world". It was a dream come true to stay at the club he loves, Lovren added.
