Croatia international left-back Josip Pivarić has signed a contract with Ukrainian powerhouse Dynamo Kiev.

Following the agreement between Dinamo Zagreb and Dynamo Kiev, Josip Pivarić will continue his career at Ukrainian vice-champions. He signed a three-year contract.

At Dynamo, Pivarić will wear the no. 23 jersey.

"Dynamo Kiev is a great club with high ambitions. I am happy to become a part of this world famous club who participates in the Champions League almost every year. This season, we expect success in the Europa League, and I still remember the recent matches that I've played with Zagreb side against the Kiev side", he said.

Pivarić will now play alongside his Croatia defensive teammate Domagoj Vida. "I have spoken to Vida before the this move and he has told me only good things about Dynamo Kiev", he added.

Pivarić was capped 14 times, including the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier in June at Iceland.
