Croatia national team head coach Ante Čačić has opted for a 23-man squad for the upcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Kosovo and Turkey.

The Vatreni await Kosovo on 2 September in Zagreb, and then travel to a challenging encounter against Turkey in Eskisehir three days later, as the top team in the Group I.

Head coach Ante Čačić has selected 23 players, who will meet on Monday, 28 August, in Zagreb.

Croatia squad is led by captain Luka Modrić, with Zoran Nižić (Hajduk), Dominik Livaković (Dinamo), Borna Barišić (Osijek), and Filip Bradarić (Rijeka) representing the domestic league.

Goalkeepers: Danijel Subašić (Monaco), Lovre Kalinić (Gent), Dominik Livaković (Dinamo)

Defenders: Domagoj Vida (Dynamo Kiev), Dejan Lovren (Liverpool), Šime Vrsaljko (Atletico Madrid), Josip Pivarić (Dynamo Kiev), Matej Mitrović (Bešiktaš), Borna Barišić (Osijek), Zoran Nižić (Hajduk)

Midfielders: Luka Modrić (Real Madrid), Ivan Rakitić (Barcelona), Ivan Perišić (Inter), Mateo Kovačić (Real Madrid), Milan Badelj (Fiorentina), Marcelo Brozović (Inter), Marko Rog (Napoli), Filip Bradarić (Rijeka), Mario Pašalić (Spartak Moscow)
