On Tuesday, Ivan Rakitić will not be available for selection as Croatia football national team visits Turkey.

Croatia completed Kosovo qualifier (1:0) on Sunday, and left for Turkey on Monday. The Eskisehir encounter is scheduled at Tuesday evening.

Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitić will miss this match due to minor hamstring injury, sustained during the Kosovo clash, that prevents him from playing just two days later.

"We would risk too much with Rakitić playing again", explained Croatia head coach Ante Čačić.

With three round left, Croatia tops Group I. Ukraine is trailing two points, Iceland three, and Turkey five points.
