FIFA World Cup play-off draw was held on Tuesday in Zürich, Switzerland, with Croatia being paired up with Greece.

Croatia and Greece will meet on 9 November in Zagreb, with the return leg scheduled on 12 November, in the 2018 FIFA World Cup play-offs. Both kick-offs are scheduled at 20:45 CET.

Zlatko Dalić's men were among the seeded teams together with Switzerland, Italy, and Denmark, while Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, and Sweden have remained among the unseeded.

"Full respect to Greece. They are a tough opponent, especially considering the away return leg. We have to do everything possible to achieve a positive outcome in Zagreb. However, I look forward to a full crowd supporting Croatia at Maksimir. Croatia will probably have control, and I can only hope that all players will be fit to play, that is the most important thing. Now we begin with our analysis, knowing that Greece has an experienced team and a German manager who insists on fighting spirit. They are good at set-pieces, and their margins are always tight", says Croatia head coach Zlatko Dalić.

FIFA World Cup, play-offs:
