Croatia national team captain Luka Modrić is once again among the best 11 players of the previous season.

FIFA and FIFPro have joined forces to select the World11 for 2017 through 25.000 votes of professional footballers, with Croatia and Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modrić repeating the success.

Last season, Modrić has won Spanish league title and defended the Champions League titule, among others, earning numerous individual awards in the process.

In the FIFA FIFPro World11, Modrić is accompanied by Gianluigi Buffon (Juventus), Dani Alves (Juventus), Marcelo (Real Madrid), Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid), Leonardo Bonucci (Juventus/Milan), Toni Kroos (Real Madrid), Andres Iniesta (Barcelona), Lionel Messi (Barcelona), Neymar (Barcelona/PSG) and Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid).

At The Best award ceremony in London, Cristiano Ronaldo was awarded as the Men's Player 2017, with Lieke Martens winning the Women's Player 2017 award.
