On Friday, Moscow hosted the 2018 FIFA World Cup Final Draw, revealing Croatia's opponents for the next summer.

2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia is scheduled from 14 June to 15 July, with 32 teams to play in eight groups by four. Croatia was drawn from Pot 2, into the Group D, alongside top-seed Argentina, Iceland, and Nigeria.

 

Croatia is to open its fifth World Cup appearance against Nigeria in Kaliningrad (16 June, 21:00 CET), then faces Argentina in Nizhny Novgorod (21 June, 20:00 CET), and completes the group stage with Iceland in Rostov-on-Don (26 June, 20:00 CET).

At the Moscow Final Draw, Croatia delegation included HNS president Davor Šuker, head coach Zlatko Dalić, HNS executive director Damir Vrbanović, HNS vicepresidents Ante Vučemilović-Šimunović and Ante Kulušić, team manager Iva Olivari, security officer Miroslav Marković, ticketing officer Nikša Martinac, and media officer Tomislav Pacak.
