Former Croatia international and assistant coach, Robert Prosinečki, has been appointed the new Bosnia and Herzgovina manager.

Bosnia and Herzegovina Football Federation has unanimously voted in favour of Robert Prosinečki as the new manager of the senior national team. 

Prosinečki has succeeded Mehmed Baždarević, and is expected to make his debut in international friendlies against the United States and Mexico in late January.

 

One of the stars of Croatia's 1998 World Cup bronze-winning team, Prosinečki was also a member of Slaven Bilić's coaching staff from 2006 to 2010. His previous coaching assignment was as the manager of the Azerbaijan senior national team.
