Croatia striker Nikola Kalinić has completed his transfer from AC Milan to Atletico Madrid.

Following a season at AC Milan, Nikola Kalinić signed a three-year contract with Atletico Madrid, Spanish giants who Šime Vrsaljko recently left to join Inter Milan.

Kalinić started his club career at Hajduk Split, including loan spells at Pula and Šibenik, and later moved to Blackburn Rovers, Dnipro, and Fiorentina.

He was capped 42 times by Croatia, scoring 15 goals in the process.

Atletico Madrid, current Primera runners-up, won the Europa League title last year, securing them a European Supercup clash with city rival, Champions League winners Real Madrid.
