Marko Pjaca agreed a one-year loan deal with Fiorentina, while Borna Barišić joined Glasgow Rangers on permanent basis.

Croatia international winger Marko Pjaca will spend the upcoming season at Florence, as Juventus and Fiorentina agreed to a loan with an option to purchase the player next season.

This spring, Pjaca was loaned to German side Schalke, following the recovery from a complicated knee injury. Pjaca was capped on 19 occasions, and made an appearance in the recent 2018 FIFA World Cup Final in Russia, with Croatia losing to France 4:2.

Osijek captain Borna Barišić joins Glasgow Rangers after impressing new Scottish giants manager Steven Gerrard in Europa League qualifying, as Rangers managed to progress at Croatia representative's expense.

The left-back moves to Ibrox as a three-time Croatia international, and will play alongside another Croatian at Glasgow Rangers, centre-back Nikola Katić.
