Croatia national football team, silver medallist from the FIFA World Cup in Russia, visited NK Bjelovar to celebrate the 110th birthday of the local club.

In front of 4111 spectators, the Vatreni have celebrated the Bjelovar event with a convincing victory over the hosts, in a friendly that served Zlatko Dalić's men to prepare for the upcoming England and Jordan matches.

In the first half, Kramarić scored four, with Rakitić, Rebić, Livaja, and Jedvaj adding one for a 8:0 lead at the break. Moreover, Pjaca hit the woodwork twice, Kramarić once, and the hosts have also been a bit unlucky - Bošnjak hit the post, and Kuprešak failed to beat Livaković on two occasions.

THE HOSTS' GIFTS

NK Bjelovar has prepared special presents for Croatia captain - and currently the best player in the world - Luka Modrić and Croatia head coach Zlatko Dalić, to have the vice-champions of the world remember this occasion.

In the second half, Goals continued to pour in, with Kramarić scoring his fifth, and Livaja completing a hat-trick. Perišić scored a brace soon after coming on, while Badelj and Pašalić also joined the scoresheet.

A big applause was reserved for Mamić, who scored the consolation goal for the hosts, and Croatia internationals brought joy to their fans once again - through coming to Bjelovar, playing, signing autographs, and taking pictures.

On Wednesday, Croatia will hold an open training session. The England encounter is scheduled for Friday, 12 October (20:45 CET).
