Croatia head coach Zlatko Dalić and midfielder Milan Badelj shared their thoughts on Jordan friendly victory in Rijeka (2:1).

Zlatko Dalić

"It was a good match that served its purpose, even though we've had too many touches and lacked the rhythm. There were unplanned substitutions due to minor injuries, but in the end we managed to win scoring twice from set-pieces. We complicated things when trying to score from open play. In the UEFA Nations League, everything is now open. We can achieve two victories and top the group, since England managed to beat Spain in the manner we couldn't. I was not surprised by this England's win, they are a really good team. Now we have to prepare for Spain encounter"

Milan Badelj

"I'm happy with this victory, and considering the performance, I'm aware that this is not our required level. However, we needed this result, a first win following the World Cup. It's good that we have avoided injuries. England's win in the UEFA Nations League means we are still in the running for top spot. To host Spain in Zagreb is the perfect invitation for everybody who loves football and Croatia national team"
