Head coach Zlatko Dalić has decided on 26 internationals to represent Croatia at the upcoming World Cup in Qatar.

The current World Cup runners-up will face Morocco (23 November), Canada (27 November), and Belgium (1 December) in the group stage.

"I optimistically believe in the team, my staff, and my work. The expectations are high, but we have to remain realistic, there are 10 or 12 teams who hope to win the World Cup. I want to take the pressure off my players, we will confidently go step by step and try to do the best we can. Croatia has performed brilliantly in the Nations League, and now the primary objective is to reach the World Cup second round. Let us avoid injuries, and go completely ready to Qatar. The national team comes first: we represent the people, not just ourselves. Everybody has to give everything for Croatia, and has to accept his role", said head coach Zlatko Dalić.
