Croatian international Nikica Jelavić will continue his career with Hull City, another Premier League club, after leaving the Everton side.

Hull City, currently holding the tenth place in the Premiership standings, have signed the 28-year-old Croatian international, former Everton striker, Nikica Jelavić.

Jelavić put his signature to a three-and-a-half year deal, and could make a debut on Saturday, in an away match against Norwich.

During his professional football career, Jelavić played for Hajduk Split, Zulte Waregem, Rapid Vienna, and Glasgow Rangers, and after leaving Scotland came to Goodison Park, where he scored 21 times in two years.

"I realised straight away that this is a great opportunity for me to come here. Hull City is a good club and we have a good squad. It didn't take long to realise that it was right for me. There is a lot of ambition within the club and I hope that we can build on the great start to the season", said Nikica Jelavić.

Jelavić played 30 matches for Croatia, and scored five goals.
