Ivan Strinić leaves Ukrainian title challengers FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk to become a Napoli player.

With the first day of the new year, Ivan Strinić joins Italian side Napoli. On Thursday, he has already participated in the training sessions alongside his new teammates.

In the previous couple of days, Strinić was in Italy to finalize the move and undergo a medical.

Napoli will soon hold a press conference presenting Strinić, who has 33 caps for Croatia.

Strinić left Hajduk for Ukraine in January 2011, and comes to Naples in the midst of battle for a Champions League spot. Fourth-placed Napoli is equal on points with third-placed Lazio and fifth-placed Sampdoria.
