Croatian Football Federation received drastic sanctions for supporters' behaviour during the European qualifier against Norway and Croatia will play Italy on 12 June behind closed doors.

UEFA Disciplinary Committee sanctioned Croatian Football Federation for the supporters' racist behaviour and the setting off of fireworks. Besides playing the Italy encounter behind closed doors, Croatian Football Federation was fined EUR 55,000.

This is a drastic disciplinary measure of UEFA, based also on the the sanctions implemented after the incidents at the Italy - Croatia qualifier, which included the partial closing of the gates against Norway.

Croatian Football Federation Executive Committee will discuss this decision at the Plitvice meeting on Thursday and decide on the venue issue.
